When we meet new people, we tend to show only our beautiful part of ourselves, instead of showing our complete sides. When recognizing someone, we are fantasized by one’s appearance at a first glance. This installation is a simply structured, personal space for someone who wants to hide in a private space, but still wants to communicate.
When we meet new people, we don’t communicate like we do to close friends and family. There exist images of us that we want us to be remembered or judged by others, which is why we filter ourselves and show only our good parts. This is why we put significance to someone’s “first glance”, a consideration of something before having a change to look at it carefully.
